Bank Bumiputera Endowed Donations to Orphaned and Impoverished Children

As the holy month of Ramadhan came to its end, Bank Bumiputera endowed donations to a number of orphaned and impoverished children in RW 02 Kecamatan Menteng.

The donation was given symbolically by Aulia Shina as the Deputy Corporate Secretary of Bank Bumiputera and was accepted by the head of RW 02 Mr. Purwanto Moentaka and then distributed directly to the needy children in the neighborhood.

The event was one of the form of the corporate social responsibility of Bank Bumiputera and also a realization of the CARE value, one of the corporate value of Bank Bumiputera. Bank Bumiputera is bank with a focus on the consumer sector; therefore it is a suitable thing for the bank to connect with all members of the society through such events.

As well as giving donations in Kecamatan menteng area, similar programs also held in Gondangdia Area Municipal Office’s neighborhood, through the distribution of holiday gifts to the staffs of Gondangdia Area and in the neighborhood of Menteng Sector Police Station, including the reserve municipal police and the cleaning service staffs. It is hoped that a healthy relationship between Bank Bumiputera with government and private institutions can be maintained and improved in the future, and could propel the progress of Bank Bumiputera’s business.
