He received his CIA from Institute of Internal Auditors, USA (2004),  CIAFIN (Certificate in Internal Auditing in Financial Institutions) from Institut Bank Bank  Malaysia (1998), ACIB from Institute of Bankers London (1981)

Previous career were ICB Islamic Bank Ltd Bangladesh as Deputy Managing Director / Chief Operating Officer (2008-2010), CIMB Bank Bhd Malaysia as VP Credit Operations Support, Applications & ATMs Support (2004-2008), VP HO & Subsidiary Audit (2001-2004),  AVP  Branch Audit (1994-2000), AVP Branch Manager (1991-1993), Asst Manager Audit (1987-1990), Executive Officer, Head of Credit, Main Branch (1984-1987), Operations (1980-1984) Officer, Trade Finance (1978-1980), start working in CIMB Bank Bhd Malaysia in January 1975.
